Higher education may protect brains of Alzheimer’s patients

In a March 27, 2013 report in Molecular Imaging, Kathy Fay Mahdoubi reported on a study from the Journal Neurology, March 2013 that studied the difference in education levels and the spread of Alzheimer’s disease.  “Patients with advanced education showing early signs of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) were found to be less vulnerable to neural damage associated with the disease, according to a review in the March publication of Neurology.”
