About Us
What We Do
That’s what we do.
We focus on PET/CT and nothing else. The Marquis Medical founders are experts in PET/CT. Our service technicians and reconditioning team are highly skilled in supporting the service, reconditioning and sale of PET/CT scanners. Because we concentrate only on PET/CT our customers can be assured they are receiving cost effective solutions whether they are inquiring about PET/CT service, reconditioned parts or PET/CT scanner purchases. Our PET/CT focus will never make us the largest company in the world, but that was never our goal. Our goal is to provide our customers with cost effective personalized service for their PET/CT scanners and the very best reconditioned parts and PET/CT machine sales. Kevin McGehee and Joe Sciarra, our founders, are never too busy to take your call or respond to your email. Contact us today and tell us how we can help you improve your PET/CT facility.

Meet The Team
Kevin McGehee
Principal
With a degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology Kevin joined the biomedical engineering staff at a large hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. During his time there Kevin learned the importance of a quick turnaround on repairs for the clinical staff. Kevin gained his certification as a Diagnostic Radiology Systems Specialist, and was responsible for maintaining the hospital’s imaging equipment. Kevin joined CTI as a Regional Service Manager for PET and PET/CT service operations. After CTI became Siemens, Kevin and his partner Joe saw a void in the PET and PET/CT service market. In 2006 Joe and Kevin formed Marquis Medical.
Joe Sciarra
Principal
Joe entered the United States Navy in 1996 and gained experience as an Avionics Technician. During his time in the Navy, Joe received extensive electronics training on radar, navigation, & communication subsystems. After four years of honorable service in the Navy, Joe joined CTI Molecular Imaging as PET Service Engineer. In just a few short years at CTI, Joe was promoted to Northeast Service Manager. His hands on experience as a PET and PET/CT service representative both in the field and as a manager was exactly what was needed when he joined Kevin McGehee to form Marquis Medical in 2006.
What Our Clients Say
We have used Marquis Medical as our service provider for our PET/CT at Winthrop for years. We are an accredited ACR Nuclear Medicine and PET facility where having operational equipment that is exact and reliable is of utmost importance. It has truly been a pleasure dealing with Vic, Eric, and Kyle. They are awesome engineers and amazing people. Through this business relationship, I have gotten to know Joe Sciarra (co-owner), and he now has become more than a friend to me. I have not had this kind of great service even from Siemens’. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like reliable, individualized, cost effective, and knowledgeable service. They are awesome!!!Ravikumar “Ravi” Johnson, Supervisor of PET Facility, Winthrop University
Our clinic used OEM service for our diagnostic imaging devices and for the most part we still do. But, when it comes to PET/CT we found there was no company better than Marquis Medical. We have a great relationship with them and our PET/CT has never operated better. If you’re concerned about third party service companies, you don’t have to be concerned about Marquis Medical.Valley Cardiology Clinic, McAllen TX, Celine Garcia, PET/CT Technician
At Healthworx of Pembroke Pines, we originally purchased post warranty service for our diagnostic imaging devices from the OEM. We knew it was probably more costly than the independent service companies, but we were told that the independent companies didn’t have the experience to service our equipment. With a need to reduce our budget expense for service, we tried Marquis Medical, an independent service provider. Marquis saved us money and delivered better service than the OEM with a very reliable, knowledgeable staff. We recommend you consider Marquis Medical for your PET/CT service needs. They have provided excellent service!Ron Settle BS,CNMT, Director of Nuclear Medicine, FICC dba Healthworx; Pembroke Pines, FL
