Adding PET to diagnostic CT can significantly increase the sensitivity of both abdominal and pelvic imaging in patients with high-risk endometrial cancer.  According to a prospective multi-center study, published in Radiology, fluorine 18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/diagnostic CT increased the ability to identify abdominal lymph node metastasis. {read more here}
